This adorable bird is standing on top of a rocky ledge by the ocean. well might be able to rummage up a rotted shark photo too:)We did see puffin on many menus but after snuggling with them it was kind of hard to picture them. Here were have a charming black and white Puffin Image. On top of the hood is a small Puffin friend. Several of these were scanned from an early Antique Natural History Book in my collection. Since Auks are related to Puffins, I’m including them here in this mix although they do look different. This bay in the west of Iceland welcomes many different bird species, among which the famous Breiðafjörður puffins. Please do not book or sail with us if you or your family, or anybody you may have been in contact with have displayed any symptoms of the Coronavirus. This is the largest of three islands in the Westfjords and a good place to see puffins. Pushchairs are more than welcome onboard too. Please let us know if you require wheelchair access so we can be prepared to assist you while boarding and we can let you know the times available when you are here. The Farne Islands are an excellent and very popular diving location. I recommend the company especially for their willingness to stay out longer to capture a special sight. It was amazing as we were so close to them as they passed the boat. The captain was excellent at pointing out the local birds and seals but on the way back to the harbour was willing to follow a herd of dolphins as we came across them. The crew were very knowledgeable and the catamaran was very smooth though it helped being a beautifully sunny day. skellig islands, county kerry, munster province, ireland.
